The ''Blood Rights Series'' contains six novella to novel length stories or short story collections, all set in the fiction Connecticut town of Adelheid. Each book in the series is told in First Person narrative, following a different narrator each time although all the characters are connected to Sadie Stanton and the Stanton Agency in some way. The series takes place approximately from autumn of 2011 to summer of 2016.
Imagine a world where every form you now fill out has a section for "species," and checking off ''vampire'' is a possibility now. Where everything is now open day and night to accommodate all different species, both human and paranormal. Where vampires and werewolves and fae and all the rest are now recognized as legal persons in their own right.
 
This is the world of the ''Blood Rights Series'' by K. B. Thorne, where the United States has passed legislation to make all of this real--with all the fascinating differences, the boring day-to-day lives, the blowback that such a turn of events would lead to.
